Leanne started dancing at the age of 6 when she performed in Leeds City Centre for Breeze. She also performed at the Breeze Festival in Hyde park. At the age of 10 Leanne joined Yvonne’s Dance School in Kirkstall where she learned Freestyle/Disco, Rock n Roll, Slow dance, Street dance and Line dancing. It was here where Leanne took her first dance exam and was entered into her first competition where she came 2nd for solo, 3rd for couples and 5th Rock n Roll and was through to the championships held in Blackpool.
At the age of 18 Leanne left Park Lane College after achieving a BTech National Diploma in Performing Arts, continuing on to compete in competitions and enter exams until the age of 21 where she attained an IDTA Associates Degree to become a fully qualified dance teacher.
